Craft Cocktail Recipes Inspired by Artisan Spirits
Roots and Wings Distillery spirits are made for enjoying straight and for mixing up cool cocktails! A great cocktail isn’t just made, it’s crafted. We’ve created this collection of craft cocktail recipes to help you discover the wonderous flavour combos, inspired by our artisan spirits.
Whether you’re a seasoned or home mixologist, we hope you’ll have fun shaking, stirring and blending your way to discover your favourite cocktails using our vodka, gin and whiskey products. Please feel free to experiment with the quantities and adjust them according to your taste.

Lavender Martini
2 oz Vital Vodka
Orange Zest
Fresh Lavender
Dash Angostura Orange bitters
In Shaker with ice, add Vital Vodka, lavender, orange zest, and orange bitters. Shake vigorously, then pour through strainer into chilled martini glass. Garnish with zest of orange and lavender sprig.
Vital Lemonade
1.5 oz Vital Vodka
Dash Angostura Orange Bitters
1 oz Organic Fair Lavender Lemonbalm Lemonade
2.5-3 oz Club Soda
In Mixing glass, combine all ingredients and stir. Pour into ice filled highball glass. Garnish with a lemon slice and sprig of lavender.
Midnight Mocha
1.5 oz Double Vice (Coffee Infused Vodka)
4 oz Chocolate Porter
Dash chocolate bitters
In a glass, add in Double Vice then the bitters and pour porter on top – sip and enjoy. Garnish with shaved chocolate and coffee beans.
Nice Double Vice
2 oz Double Vice (Coffee Infused Vodka)
2.5 oz Coconut Milk
In shaker, shake with ice and pour into a carmel syrup (any brand) lined coupe glass.
Maple Cold Brew
2 oz Double Vice Coffee Infused Vodka
6 oz Cold Brew Coffee
½ oz Maple Syrup
10 Macadamia nuts
Make cold brew coffee, then add in maple syrup, Double Vice, and macadamia nuts to blender. Blend for a minute and pour into ice filled glass.
Jackknife Jones
1.5 oz Jackknife Gin
¼ oz Organic Fair Lavender Lemonbalm Lemonade
1 oz Unsweetened Grapefruit Juice
2 oz Club Soda
In shaker with ice, combine the Jackknife Gin, Lemonbalm Lemonade, and grapefruit Juice, shake, pour into coupe glass, top with soda.Garnish with dried rose petals.
TLC (This Little Cocktail)
2 oz Jackknife Gin
1 oz St Germaine Elderflower Liqueur
¾ oz Unsweetened Grapefruit Juice
Fresh Squeezed Juice from 1 Lemon
In shaker, combine ingredients with ice and shake vigorously – pour into coupe glass. Garnish with Fresh mint.
Cardamom Rebel Sour
2oz Rebel
1 oz Porter’s Tonic Syrup – Cardamom Orange
1 oz Lillet
1 oz lemon Juice
Dash of Scrappy’s Bitters – Cardamom
In Shaker, combine ingredients with ice. Shake until cold. Pour into coupe glass and enjoy. Garnish with lemon zest and mint.
Black Hibiscus Rebel
1.5 oz Rebel
5 oz Blackberry Liqueur (any brand)
1 oz Porter’s Tonic Syrup – Hibiscus
Splash Club Soda
In mixing glass, combine Rebel, Blackberry Liqueur, Hibiscus tonic, then stir in club soda gently. Garnish with mint leaf and 3 fresh skewered blackberries.
Spiked Cider
1.5 oz Rebel
3 oz Warm Apple Cider
3 drops Addition Clove Cocktail Spice
4 drops Addition Cardamom Cocktail Spice
Heat apple cider to just before boiling then pour into mug. Ddd Rebel and drops of Addition Cocktail spices – Cardamom and Clove. Stir. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
